The enlarged flue pipe in a chimney is referred to as a flue extension. Flues are conduits that come from a stove or furnace and go outside the structure. Toxic gases, smoke, and soot escape a fire through the flue. An existing flue pipe's draft may often be increased by using a flue extension. It could be constructed out of clay tiles, tin, or galvanized metal.
Better drafts are produced by a taller chimney. Unfortunately, it is rare to find chimneys and flues constructed with the correct size and heights to create a suitable airflow. To raise the top of the flue into a fresh air flow and restore the chimney's proper draft, a flue extension may be necessary.

Installs on chimney where no flue is extending or flue is too short; Tapcon screws are included.
