A flue extension refers to an extended flue pipe in a chimney. Flues are pipes that carry exhaust from a stove or furnace outside the structure. Through the flue, toxic gases, smoke, and soot escape from a fire. A flue extension is frequently used to increase the draft of an existing flue pipe. It could be made of clay tiles, tin, or galvanized metal.
A taller chimney produces better drafts. Unfortunately, it is uncommon to find chimneys and flues built with the proper size and height to produce enough airflow. A flue extension may be required to lift the top of the flue into a fresh air flow and restore the chimney's correct draft.

Installs on chimney where no flue is extending or flue is too short; Tapcon screws are included.
