A taller chimney produces better drafts. Unfortunately, finding chimneys and flues built with the proper proportions and height to provide optimal ventilation is difficult. A flue extension may be required to relocate the top of the flue into a fresh air flow and reestablish the chimney's correct draft.
A flue extension is a lengthened chimney flue pipe. Flues are pipes that convey exhaust from a stove or furnace outside of the structure. Hazardous gases, smoke, and soot from a fire escape down the flue. An existing flue pipe's draft can frequently be increased via a flue expansion. It could be made of clay tiles, tin, or galvanized metal.

Installs on chimney where no flue is extending or flue is too short; Tapcon screws are included.
