A taller chimney produces better drafts. Unfortunately, finding chimneys and flues built with the proper proportions and height to provide optimal ventilation is difficult. A flue extension may be required to relocate the top of the flue into a fresh air flow and restore the chimney's right draft.
Note:
Installs on chimney where no flue is extending or flue is too short; Tapcon screws are included.
