A taller chimney creates better drafts. Unfortunately, it can be tough to discover chimneys and flues that were created with the optimum proportions and height to allow the best ventilation. A flue extension may be required to reestablish the right draft of the chimney and move the top of the flue into a new airflow.
A flue extension refers to an enlarged flue pipe in a chimney. Flues are pipes that carry exhaust from a stove or furnace outside the structure. Hazardous gases, smoke, and soot from a fire escape down the flue. A flue expansion can frequently increase the draft of an existing flue pipe. It might be constructed from galvanized metal, tin, or clay tiles.

Installs on chimney where no flue is extending or flue is too short; Tapcon screws are included.
