A taller chimney generates better drafts. Unfortunately, it can be difficult to find chimneys and flues that were designed with the best proportions and height to allow for the best ventilation. To reestablish the right draft of the chimney and move the top of the flue into a new airflow, a flue extension may be required.
A flue extension refers to an enlarged flue pipe in a chimney. Flues are pipes that transport exhaust from a stove or furnace outside the building. Hazardous gases, smoke, and soot from a fire escape down the flue. An existing flue pipe's draft can frequently be increased by a flue expansion. It might be constructed from galvanized metal, tin, or clay tiles.

Installs on chimney where no flue is extending or flue is too short; Tapcon screws are included.
