A simple gas appliance that that evokes a simpler time. This stack of artificial cedar logs straddles the Monessen® PH burner on its curved burner element. Decorative cast iron accents on the front of the grate keep the esthetic of an old-timey wood fire. The 24" wide Mountain Cedar™ logs are made from sculpted refractory cement and painted to look like distressed cedar logs with light charring. The heavy and durable material will absorb some of the heat from the flames and continue to radiate it for a time even after the fire is shut off.
The burner comes equipped with a three step burner that uses no outside electrics or controls -- everything is right on the burner. Just turn the knob to the pilot, press the piezo-electric striker button to ignite, then turn the knob to adjust the height of the flame. It uses less gas than thermocouple-equipped systems that require a pilot light to operate.

From the first moment I interacted with Dana she was nothing but professional, courteous and more than a little helpful. Dana never failed to reply to an email or answer a question. She kept me apprised of my order and her follow through was fantastic. I never felt alone during this process.
Glass had to be resized to meet order once. Customer service was amazing. Unfortunately the glass was not. Even with the resizing and additional information provided the glass failed to meet the specifications required. Although the company was amazing to work with, I will have to go somewhere else with my business.
Just wanted to let you know we (finally) received the correct grate. Please extend Marcy our thanks – she was very helpful throughout this!
Hello, I got your glass today and installed it. I was impressed in how easy it was to put the plugs in that hold the glass in place – nice engineering there. I bought the wrong color – see the attached picture (the new pane is 2nd from left) – it should be lighter. I’ll replace it sometime before I move out; in the mean time it’s a warning to not leave the fire unattended. Thanks for the great packaging, too – I can use that cardboard in projects so it’s going to be reused.
Thanks for such a QUICK response!
