Do you enjoy the fire, or do you enjoy the flames? I only ask because this gigantic 55" long linear fireplace doesn't have fire, but it does have flames that you can control the intensity and the color of at the touch of the included remote control. You don't even have to give up heat -- there is a fan-driven heater installed inside that blows heated air over the slightly-slanted glass in the front to emulate the radiant heat of a gas fire.
And unlike many linear gas fireplaces, you can install this electric unit outdoors too for a colored light show any day or night. Just remember to equip the stainless steel cover when you're not using it to keep it working well.
Use the included "ice" fire glass media (large clear chunks on a bed of small clear and blue-colored diamond-like pieces), or replace it with the fire glass media of your choice.
While it comes with a matte black surround for flush wall mounting, you can replace it with a custom-finish surround from Design Specialties® or remove it entirely to build over the firebox with decorative materials like stone or wood.

Thank you. Very Fast.
Ron helped me out very well on the phone (assistance with measuring). I was impressed with his follow-up too.
I am REALLY pleased! The picture of it does not do it justice. That is the prettiest piece of wood, and a contractor doing some work in my home said that the grain in the edge looks just like Damascus steel. I do wish the pic could give you a better indication of what I will enjoy for the rest of my life!
GREAT PRICES!! fit in my budget.
Purchased: Log Style Mantel
The mantel arrived yesterday afternoon and is in great shape. That was easily the most impressive job of packaging a large, odd-shaped object that I've ever seen!
