DuraChimney II Air-Cooled System
The All-Fuel Chimney Pipe is a system designed for low-heat residential appliances that are fueled by wood, coal, oil, or gas. This type of chimney is commonly known as a "Class A chimney" or "Factory-built chimney" and is frequently used for free-standing stoves, furnaces, and fireplaces. The product is offered in double-wall or triple-wall construction and is listed to UL 103, UL 103HT, ULC S629, or ULC S604.
It is important to note that the inside diameter is used to choose and classify all Stove & Chimney Pipe, and that components from different manufacturers and brands should not be mixed. DuraTech is a double-wall, all-fuel chimney system that is suitable for use with wood stoves, fireplaces, furnaces, boilers, ranges, water heaters, or other appliances fueled by wood, oil, coal, or gas, as well as zero-clearance fireplaces that are factory built. DuraTech chimney systems are equipped with a Thermal Insulation Blanket encased between dual walls, offering the highest level of safety and performance. The inner wall of DuraTech chimney systems is 25% thicker than that of competitive chimneys, providing an extra margin of safety. It is important to note that DuraTech chimney vent pipe requires a 2" clearance to combustible materials and that the inside diameter is used to choose and classify all Stove & Chimney Pipe.
