Hard Pipe Connection 172UPK Universal Safety Pilot Kit

This pilot light safety valve is perfect for indoor fireplaces and gas log sets. Whether you have natural gas or propane for your fuel source, this universal hard pipe connection kit includes components for either option! The kit comes complete with the 72PKN system, which includes an easy to assemble side inlet Copreci valve that produces a generous 90K BTU heat output. Assorted fittings allow you to easily connect to a burner with 3/8 inch female, 3/8 inch male, or 1/2 inch male threads. Your gas valve for fireplaces and log sets stays protected by a heat shield that carries a 300° temperature rating. The 18-inch pilot assembly comes with a mounting bracket and a control knob with a 4-inch extension. For propane users (or those who are thinking of switching from one fuel type to another in the future), the complementary conversion kit comes with an air mixer, 2 pilot orifices, and vermiculite for gas dispersion.
