Lumien Brass Hanging Glass Shroud with Micro Light is the most sought-after effect when lighting driveways, lawns, patios, or any area that needs low-level illumination. Downlights are typically mounted 20 ft to 30 ft high, however it is possible to find trees with branches below this. In this case, the lights can still be mounted, but the effect will be oval pools of light as opposed to a dappling effect.

This brass hanging glass shroud accessory is easy to assemble and is IP68 rated, making it fully wet rated. The required Micro Light source comes in 3.5 Watts and 5.5 Watts and are the most innovative, universal light ever created. The Micro Lights are small, bright and easy to conceal in any structure or landscape feature and come with an included 6 foot lead wire.  All micro lights are also IP68 wet rated, making it a must have for coastal environments. The brass micro light series runs at a lower temperature than MR16 LED light bulbs and are available in 2700K or 3000K color temps. 2700K lighting is great for surroundings with warmer colors, natural colored walls or stonework or foliage with red, orange or yellow tones (ex: highlighting an oak tree). If you prefer a bit more color acuity, 3000K is recommended where visual activities are more prevalent. 3000K is also great for surroundings with dark materials, like deep slate, black or gray and for foliage with blue or purple tones (ex: highlighting a spruce tree). The 40 degree beam spread offers a good combination of intensity and coverage, making it ideal for general accent lighting. The antique brass finish will coordinate with any decor and is weather resistant.

Low-voltage lighting systems require the use of a transformer. The optional power source transformer is available in 120W or 250W output and features two taps; 12V and 15V with one common tap. This transformer also includes Plug and Play photocell and built in timer. It also has a battery backup to keep settings during power outages. The more lights in a desired project, the larger the transformer. Some installations may require multiple transformers.
